RESOLUTION DIRECTING READVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION
WORK TO BE DONE IN SIERRA DEL ORO ESTATES UNIT N0. 3 ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT COUNTY OF BUTTE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the .County of
Butte, State of California, did, on the 27th day of August,
1967, adopt its Resolution of Intention to order the improve-
ments and acquisitions to be done and made in Sierra Del Oro
Estates Unit No. 3 Assessment District, County of Butte, State
of California; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention fixed Tuesday,
the 8th day of October, 1968, as the time for hearing on the
Resolution of Intention; and
WHEREAS, for the purpose of determining at the time of
the hearing on the Resolution of Intention the total contract
cost of the work proposed to be done pursuant to said Resolution
of Intention, said Board of Supervisors called for sealed proposals
for the doing of said work and making of said improvements, said
proposals fo be delivered to the Board of: Supervisors of..the County
Butte on or before Tuesday, the 24th day of September, 1968, at
the hour of 11:00 o'clock A.M.; and
WHEREAS, at the time fixed for receipt of sealed pro-
posals, no bids were received; and
. WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the property
owners that the County Clerk be directed to readvertise for' ~,
sealed proposals for the doing of said work and making of said
improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of t'ne County of Butte, State of California, that sealed proposals
fox the doing of said work and making of said improvements shall
be delivered to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte on or
before Tuesday, the 22nd day of October, 1968, at the hour of 11:00

of the County of Butte, located in the Courthouse, Oroville,
California, which said time and place are hereby faxed as the-
. time and place of a public meeting, at which said bids will be
'publicly opened, examined and declared by the County Clerk of the
County of Butte. Said bids, after being publicly opened, examined
and declared, will be calculated by the Engineer of Work, their
report returned to-the County Clerk, and the report of the results
of the bidding and the calculations of the Engineer of Work will
be reported to the Board of.Supervisors of the County of Butte.
_~he..Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all.
proposals should it deem this necessary for the public good and
also the bid of any bidder who has been delinquent or unfaithful
in any former contract with the County of Butte.

.ordered to .give notice inviting sealed bids in the time, form and
manner provided by law.

I' HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was
duly and regularly adopted by the .Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, at a regular meeting
thereof, held an the 1st day of October, 1968, by the following
vote, to wit:
