2 BUTTE COUNTY LEGAL 5ECRETARIES, INC.
3 RESOLUTION REGARDING "Ds~Y-IN-COURT"
I~ WHEREAS, legal secretaries, along with the judges and
5 lawyers in our county, participate in one of Iife's most satisfy-
' 8' ing endeavors -the doing of Justice; and
7 WHEREAS, many legal secretaries have never had the
8 opportunity to attend court and see at first-hand the inner
9 workings of the judicial branch of our Government with which
;10 they are so closely related by reason of their profession as
11 legal secretaries] and
X12 AREAS, one of the aims and purposes of the BUTTE
13 COUNTY LEGAL SECRETARIES, INC. is to increase the skill, competenc
'14 and usefulness of legal secretaries, not for their sakes alone„ bu
15 in order that they may better serve their employers; and
'16 WHEREAS,. it is the belief of the BUTTE COUNTY LEGAL
17 SECRETARIES, INC. that aDAY-IN-COURT for each legal secretary
,18 would fturther her understanding, interest and efficiency in her
19 job,
20 NO'A, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED AND RESOLVED BY THE BOARD
21 OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as

,23 That October 11, 1968 is hereby designated as the
2!~ official Dr'~Y-IN-COURT far BUTTE COUNTY LEGAL SECRETARIES, ING.
25 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the BO#~RD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE
2~6 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF' CALIFORNIA this 8th day of October ,
