BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF"CALTFORNIA
:.; _ RESOLUTION-IN MEMORY OF WING FEE CHAN
WHEREAS, this board was shocked and. grieved to learn of
the tragic accident in which WING FEE CHAN, the-Planning Director
of the County of Butte, was killed; and
WHEREAS, WING FEE CHAN se-rued this county most ably and
with unselfish devotion for over nineteen years; and
WHEREAS, WING FEE CHAN and his family before him have made.
major contributions to.-the welfare of Butte County; and,
WHEREAS, WING FEE CHAN'S outstanding community efforts
have added~to the historical, as well as economic; wealth of-the

County of Butte,
NOW, THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED by the-Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of Cali-fornia, as follows:
1. That said board hereby memorializes its appreciation
of the meritorious services rendered to the. County of Butte by -
WING FEE CHAN during his lifetime.
2. That"the condolences and heartfelt sympathy of this
board be extended to the members of the family of WING FEE CHAN,~
and that the clerk of this board forward a certified copy of this
resolution to hzs wife, Stella, and their family..
3'. .That the regular meeting of this board held. on the
15th day of October,, 1968, be adjourned in memory-of WING FEE CHAN,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the-Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte,-State of California,~this 15th day of October, .
