HomeMy WebLinkAbout68-1751 2 3 6 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 2S 26 27 28 29 30 31 RESOLUTION N0. 68-~5 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3 of the Government Code of the State of California, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for the establishment of a county service area within the County of Butte; and WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission, on November 7;;1968, approved the formation of the county service area as prescribed by law, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: 1. That a county service area is proposed to be established under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area of Butte County; the boundary lines of the territories propose for inclusion in the area are more particularly described in Ex- hibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference as though fully set forth verbatim and at length. 2. That the name proposed for said county service area is County Service Area No. 34. 3. That there are no extended county services for the maintenance of the swimming pool provided in this area. 4. That the types of extended county services proposed to be provided in this area is the operation, maintenance, repair, and upkeep of a swimming pool constructed upon the Butte County Fairgrounds. 5. That a tax sufficient to pay for such services which are furnished on an extended basis will be annually levied upon all taxable property within such area. 6.
