RESOLUTION DIRECTING READC7ERTISEMENT F01'. BIDS FOR
'.CONSTRUCTION WORK TO BE DONE IN SIERRA DEL ORO
ESTATES UNIT N0. 3 ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, COUNTY OF BUTTE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, did, on the 27th day of August, 1968,
adopt its Resolution of Intention to order the improvements and
acquisitions to be done and made in Sierra Del Oro Estates Unit
No. 3 Assessment District, County of Butte, State of California;
and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention fixed Tuesday, the
8th day of October, 1968,_as,the time for hearing on the Resolution
of Intention and said hearing was duly continued to October 22,
1968; and
WHEREAS, for the purpose. of determining at the time of the
hearing on the Resolution of Intention the total contract cost of
the work proposed to be done pursuant to.said Resolution of Inten-
tion, said Board of Supervisors called for sealed proposals-for
the doing of said work and making of said improvements, said proposals
to be delivered to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
on or before Tuesday, the 22nd"day of October, 196$, at t.he_hour o~
11:00 o'clock A.M,; and
WHEREAS, at the time fixed for receipt of sealed proposals,
only one bid was received, and it has been rejected by the Board of
Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention has been amended
by the Board of Supervisors to delete the system of domestic water
supply from the scope of the work to be done; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the property
owners that the County Clerk be directed to readvertise for sealed
proposals for the doing of said work. and making of said improvement;

of the County of Butte, State of California, that sealed proposals
for the doing of said work and ma}:ing of said improvements shall
be delivered to the Board of Supervisors of the County of. Butte.

on or before Tuesday, the ~ day of December, 1968, at tine hour
of 11:00 o'clock A.h1., in the chambers of the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, located in the Courthouse, Oroville, Cali-
- fornia, which said time and place are hereby fixed as the tame
. and place of a public meeting, at which said bids will be publicly
opened, ~xamined and declared by the County Clerk of the County of
Butte. Said bids, after being publicly oponed, examinad, and
declared, will be calculated }?y the Engineer of [~?ork, their report
returned to the County Clerk, and the report of the results of the
bidding and the calculations of the Engineer of tivork will be
reported to the Boa'rcl of Supervisors. of the County of Butte. The
Board of Supervisors reserves the. right to reject any and all
proposals should it deem this necessary for the public-good and
also the bid of any bidder who has been delinquent or unfaithful in
ary former contract with the County of Butte.
The County Clerk of the County of Butte is hereby ordered
to give notice inviting sealed bids in the time, form and manner
provided 'vy law.
