BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION ENDORSING INTERNATIONAL MODEL
AIRPLANE OLYMPICS
WHEREAS, the City of Oroville has provided facilities for
holding the 1969 International Model Airplane Olympics; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte is proud of their physical
facilities for visitors; and
WHEREAS, the holding of the International Model Airplane
Olympics would be of benefit to the entire county,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, that they hereby
approve and endorse the holding of the International Model Air-
plane Olympics for 1969 in the County of Butte, and by these
presents extend invitations to all interested parties to come,
enjoy, and participate. in said functions,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 26 day of November
1968, by the following vote:
AYES' Supervisors Dunaway, Hvwsden, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Maxon
