HomeMy WebLinkAbout68-195RESOLUTION N0. 68-~~ BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION AND ORDER OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, REORGANIZ- ING SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND RE-ESTABLISHIi7G THE BOUIv'DARTES OF SCHOOL DISTRICTS WITHIN THE COUNTY OF BUTTE 9 10' 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 is 20 21 22 23 24 2S 28 27 28 29 30 31 32 WHEREAS, certification has been made by the County Superintendent of Schools that an election was held in the County of Butte on April 2, 1968, in the Ba],d Rock and Berry Creek School Districts for the purpose of determining whether said districts should be unionized, which certification is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; and WHEREAS, said election was called, held and conducted by the County Superintendent of Schools, as required by Section 2023 of the Education Code of the State of California, and in compliance wi$1 the laws of the State of California; and WHERE?:S, the majority of the votes cast were in favor of the unionization, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED AS FOLLOWS: 1. That pursuant to the authority conferred by the provisions of the Education Code, Section 1647, that certain territory situate in the County of Butte, State of California, and more particularly described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference, be, and the same hereby is declared to be and established as a separate school district of the County of Butte, for all purposes provided by law. Also attached hereto is a plat of said district, marked Exhibit "C". 2. The Clerk of this board is directed to record a certified copy o£ this Resolution and Order with the County Recorder of the County of Butte, and to file with the County Auditor of the County of Butte, and with the State Board of Equalization, a certified copy of this Resolution and Order, accompanied by a map showing the boundaries of said new school 1 2 3 4 6 6 7 8. 9 10- 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18- 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 2'7 28 29 30- 31 32 district of Butte CoLUity.
