RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN
COUNTY OF BUTTE AND SOUTHERN PACIFIC CO.
RE
1 WAGSTAFF ROAD, CROSSING CH-200.2, PARADISE

WHEREAS, COUNTY OF BUTTE in con~yunction with SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY
3
and PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION has conducted a survey of grade crossings in
4
Butte County; and
5
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the above-mentioned grade crossing
6
is unsafe and extremely hazardous to the safety and well being of the traveling
7
public; and
8
WHEREAS, in order to provide the needed protection, the above-mentioned
9
grade crossing calls for the installation of flashing light signals at
10
Southern Pacific Company Crossing CH-200.2;
11
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVID by the Board of Supervisors of the County
12
of Butte, State of California, as follows:
13
1. That said Board hereby approves that certain indenture made the
14
day of , 196 , by and between SOUTHERN PACIE'IC
15
COi~Il'ANY and Gounty of Butte.
16
2. The Chairman of this Board is hereby authorized to execute,on
17
behalf of the County of Butte, said indenture, and his signature attested to

by the Clerk of this Board, and acknowledged.

3. That a certified copy of this Resolution be attached by the Clerk
20
of said Board to said indenture and the required copies thereof,
21
PASSED AND ADOPTID by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
22
State of California this ', 17th day of December , 1968, by the
23
following vote:

AYES: Supervisors Howsden, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Maxon
