GRIDLEY SWIMNTIi~?G POOL Ai~ID COUTdTY SERVICE ARF~A TRIO. 34
WHEREAS, the Board of Super-visors has establis'ed County
Service Area D?o. 34 for the operation, maintenance, repair, and
upkeep of a swimming pool constructed upon the Butte County Fair-
grounds; and
1~L'REAS, this board finds it necessary that an Advisory
Committee be formed to advise this board on the day to day.opera-
tions Qf the swimming pool, -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors,
County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. An advisory committee for County Service Area Igo. 34
is hereby established, and sha11 be consisted as follows:
a. Two members of the general public to be appointed
by this board;
b. A member of the Gridley City Council, or their
duly authorized representative to be selected by the City Council
of Gridley;
c. A member of the Butte County fair Board, or
their duly authorized representative; and
d. A member of the Gridley Union High. School Board
of Trustees, or their duly authorized representative.
2. Said committee shall be charged with the following
duties: •
a. Recommend to the Board of Supervisors an annual
budget, said recommendation to be made prior to March 15th of
each year;
b. Recommend rates to be charged to-the public for
use of said pool;
c. Recommend hours that said pool is to be open to
! the public;

d, Recommend to the board the manner in which the
pool is to be operated, including, but not limited to, recommend-
ations pertaining to agreements for other agencies or associations
to operate thepool on a contract basis;
e. Recommendations to the board with regards to the
employment of people or recommendations for a contract for the
r~iaintenance of said pool; and
f. Make any recommendation to this board pertaining
to the efficient operation and maintenance of said pool.
PASSED AbfD ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 17th d ay of December
1968, by the following vote;
AYES: Supervisors Howsden, McKillop, Pryde and Chafrman Maxon
NOES : None
ABSENT: Supervisor Dunaway
