PORTION OF LOWER WYA[3DOTTE ROAD
UkIEREAS,a. porta.~n of the Lo~rer Wyandotte Road is no longer necessary
or required for xoad purposes; and
Tr1HEREAS, pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code, Section 950.1,
the Board finds that a portion of Lower t~yandotte Road sho3.d be summarily
vacated,
N04I, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
Caunty of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. The following described portion of the Laver Wyandotte Road is
hereby aurr~narily vacated and abandoned pursuant to Streets and Iighways Code
Section 960.1:
All that certain real property situate in the County of Butte, State of Califor-
nia, being a poxtion of the Southwest quarter of Section l6, 'T19N, A4E, MDP&I[,
described as follows:
Commencing at a point nn the east right of way line o€ Central Drive (80 feet
wide) as described in that certain deed to Butte Caunty recorded August 7, 1956,
in Book 820 at page 23, Butte County Official Recaxds, said point being also
the southwest corner of that certain parcel of land described as parcel one in
the deed to Moore Dry Dock Company, recorded March 12, 19G4, in Sook 1301, at
page 483, Butte County Official itecords; thence S 20°32`58"E, 126.73 feet;
thence S 28°39'47"E, b3.25 feet to a goint on the existing northeasterly right
cE way line of Lower [dyandotte Road (formerly [,~yandotte Avenue) as described in`
Parcel Tcao of-said deed to P4oore Dry Dock Company and the true gains of begin-
ning for this descxiption; thence along; the skid northeastexly right of way line
the following courses and distances: S 65°01'52"E 55.51 feet; 8.53°49'52"E, 72.b
feet; S 35°38'52"E, 99.20 feet to a 3/4" iron pipe marking the most westerly
earner of that certain parcel of land described in the deed to Ntoare Dry Dock
Company, recorded 3~arch 12, 1964, in Book 1301, at page 471, Butte County Offici
~tecords; thence along the northeasterly right of way'line of Lower Wyandotte
Road (formerly Oroville-Lyandotte County Road) as described in the last-mentions
Moore Dry Dnck parcel S 29°57'52"E, 58.20 feet and S 17°17'52"E, 23.00 feet to
the southwest corner of the last-mentioned Moore Dry Dack parcel; thence leaving
said northeasterly line of Lower [~Tyandotte Raad S 59°30'20"W, b2.74 feet; thence
N 30°37'32"[d, 708.03 feet; thence S S1°58'S5"E, 8.1b feet; thence N 28°Oi'05"E,
5.00 feed thence N 61°58'55"W 16.37 fecst; thence N 30°37'32"F3, 74.22 feet to
the -TR[IE POINT' OF BECI.NNIA;G. Containing an area of 0.356 acre±, more or less.
