The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475 of said Count being the honing Enabling Ordinance of said County, as amended by (~rc~inance No. 522, do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The hereinbelow described area, situate in the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an "A-R'+ {Agricultural Residential) District and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided. The area so zoned is a portion of the unincorporated area of Butte County and particularly described as the Morehead Sub- division, Unit ~1 and 2 as recorded in the Official Maps in the Office of the Butte County Recorder; excluding therefrom that portion of Lot 20 of Morehead Subdivision Unit No. 1 and that parcel adjacent to said South portion of Lot 20 owned by William H. Prie1 as of the first Monday in March 1960 as shown by the records of the Butte County Assessor. SECTION 2: The following regulations shall apply in an "A-I~41 District: 2.1 Uses permitted: 1) One-family dwellings, not including tents or trail 2)'<Aecessory buildings pertinent to permitted uses. 3) Agrt~eultural uses, except livestock and poultry farming: 2.2 The following uses subject to~the securing of a Use Permit in each case:' 1) Two-familys-;dwe~.lings and multiple-family dwellings. 2) Golf ~~ourses and country clubs. 3) Public and ~~}a.asi-public uses including churches, fire houses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools and public utility buildings. ~.) Minimum building site width required: Sixty-five (65) feet. 2.5 Minimum front yard required: Twenty-five (25) feet. 2.6 Minimum side yard required: Five (5) feet. SECTION 3: All uses of land within the district not specifically authorized and permitted under Section 2 are prohibited. SECTION Li.. Penalties for any violation of the zoning hereby imposed within the District shall be as provided in the ~on3.ng Enabling Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after its effective date become a supplement to and a part of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereb declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30~ days aft the date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage this Ordinance sha11 be published once with the names of the members voting for and against it, in the Chico Enterprise , a newspaper published in the County.of Butte, State of California.
