RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER CHANGES IN WORK
(Streets and Highways Code Section 5236)
RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE BOUNTY OF BUTTE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA:
That in its opinion the public interest and con-
venience require changes in the public improvement work for
East Avenue Assessment District that are described in the
following Resolutions of this Bcard:
Resolution No. 68-81 Resolution of lntention
adopted May 28, 1968
Resolution No. 68-98 Resolution Ordering Work
adopted June 25, 1968.
That it is the intention of this Board to order
the public improvement work for East Avenue k~essment District
changed as follows:

1. Construct sidewalk 5' wide in place of
sidewalk 4' wide on the Northerly side
of East Avenue from Engineer's Station
8+65 to Engineer's Station 13+59.
2. Remove four trees and delete four tree
blockouts on the Northerly side of East
Avenue from Engineer's Station 11+45
to Engineer's Station 12+90.
That this Board hereby estimates that the increase
or decrease in cost resulting from each of the items described

above and the total increase in the construction cost of all
work for said assessment district are as follows:

That this Board hereby determines that said increase
in the cost of the work will increase the estimated cost of
said work from $24,550.00, the estimated cost thereof, to
$25,157.76, the new estimated cost thereof.
That the changes of work described herein sha11 be
done pursuant to Division 7 of the streets and Highways Code,
The Improvement pct of 1911, and shall be of the sizes, dimen-
sions, materials and in the positions and locations and shall
be placed to the grades, all as shown and described upon, and
all in accordance with the amended plans and specifications
proved by this Board on 196 and now on
file in the office of the Clerk of this Board.
That the cost of said changes and the incidental
expenses thereof shall be assessed as a part of the costs and
expenses of the work and impraements described in said Reso-
lution, and that the lands to be assessed for the costs and
expenses of said changes are the same lands that are described
in said Resolution No. 68-81 increased by any lawful increase
in the area thereof and decreased by any lawful decrease in
the area thereof.

That aerial bonds to represent the unpaid assessments
Tor the cost of said work and improvements descrftad in said
Resolution and to represent the cost of the changes herein
described shall be issued in the same foxnn, and for the same
time, and in the same manner that era described in said
solution Ido. 6Q-Ql.
That this Beard, acting pursuant to Streets a,nd
I~ighways Code Section 5236, finds and determines that the
total amountcf the original contract prise .Tor the public
improvement work described in said Resolution No< 68-81
Resolution of Intention is the sum of X24,550.00, based upon
the Engineer`seatimate of quantities oT the work and the

contractors bid prices and finds and determines that construatio~
has begun upon the public improvement work described in said \~
Resolution of Intention and hereby finds and detarma.nes that \
the net amount of said changes is an increase in the sum of
~SO'7.7fi and that said sum does not exceed the sum of X1,0:}0,00
anal that this Board therefore determines to order tine changes
described in this resalution without the necessity oT a public
hearirsg thereon.
