HomeMy WebLinkAbout69-005EAST AVENUE ASSESSMENT DTSTRIGT ~ ~ ~_ RESOLUTION N0. 69-5 RESOLUTION ORDERING CHANGES TN ~iIORK (Streets and Highways Code Section 5236) WHEREAS, On January _7 196 9 , this Board passed its Resolution No. 69-~+ Resolution of Intention to Order ,Changes in Work, and in said resolution declared its intention to order certain changes in the public improve- ment work for East Avenue Assessment District, and WHEREAS, this Board in said Resolution No. 69-4. , acting pursuant to Streets and Highways Gode Section 5236, duly determined to order the changes described in said Resolution No. 69-4 without the necessity of a public hearing on said proposed changes. NOW THEREFORE, RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA: That this Board hereby orders tka.at the public improvement work for East Avenue Assessment District described in the following resolutions of this Board, viz: Resolution No. 68-81 Resolution of Intention adopted May 28, 1968 Resolution No. 68-98 Resolution Ordering work adopted June 25, 1968, be changed, and that all the new work described in this Boardfs Resolution No. 69-4 is hereby included in the -1- work to be done for said district, and that all the deleted work described in said Resolution No. 69-4 is hereby omitted from the work to be done for said district. That this Board hereby orders the Engineer of Work to include the costs of the changes and the incidental expenses thereof in the assessment for the public improvement work for East Avenue Assessment District. That this Board hereby authorizes the County Sur- veyor of the cCounty of Butte to execute with the Contractor, A. TEICHERT ~ SON, INC., an amencUnent to the contract that said County Surveyor and said A. Teichert & Son, Inc., as said Contractor, executed on August 30, 1568, for the work for East Avenue Assessment District, which amendment will bind said contractor to construct the additional work des- cribed in said Resolution No.59-4 for the prices that said Contractor stated in its Consent filed with this Board on January 7 196, and will permit said Contractor to omit the deleted work described in said Resolution No. 69-4 for the price reductions stated in said Consent. That the County Surveyor of the County of Butte at the time of executing said amendment to said contract, shall require A. TEICHERT & SON, INC. to execute and deliver to the County of Butte an additional Labor and Material Bond and an additional Contract Bond duly signed by it and by a surety, or by sureties, all in the forms and for the amounts -2- as prescribed by law and the contract specifications on file with this Board.
