BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR THE
BIGGS SWIMMING POOL AND COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 31
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has established Cour_ty
Service Area No. 31 for the operation, maintenance, repair, and
upkeep of a swimming pool constructed upon the Biggs High School
grounds; and
WHEREAS, this board finds it necessary that an Advisory
Committee be formed to advise this board on the day to day opera-
tions of the swimming pool,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors,
County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. An advisory committee for County Service Area No. 31
is hereby established, and shall be consisted as follows:
a. Two members of the general public to be appointed
by this board;
b. A member of the Biggs City Council, or their
duly authorized representative to be selected by the City Council
of Biggs;
c. Two members of the Biggs Unified School District,
or their duly authorized representatives.
2. Said committee shall be charged with the following
duties,
a. Recommend to the Board of Supervisors an annual
budget, said recommendation to be made prior to March 15th of
each year;
b. Recommend rates to be charged to the public for
use of said pool;
c. Recommend hours that said pool is to be open to
the public;
d. Recommend to the board the manner in which the '
pool is to be operated, including, but not limited to, recommend-

ations pertaining to agreements for other agencies or associations
to operate the pool on a contract basis;
e. Recommendations to the board with regards to
the employment of people or recommendations for a contract for the
maintenance of said pool; and
f. Make any recommendation to this board pertaining
to the efficient operation and maintenance of said pool.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 14th day of January, 1969, by
the following vote:
