BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
CiIUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES FAR TESTING
NON-COMNIERCTAL WEIGHING AND MEASURING
DEVICES
WHEREAS, Section 12210 (b) of the Business and Professions
Code of the State of California provides that the 'Sealer of Weights
and Measures may, when directed by the Board of Supervisors of his
county, inspect, test and certify the accuracy of non-commercial
weights and measures and other measuring devices set forth an said
section; and
WHEREAS, there are weights and measuring instruments classi~
fied as "non-commercial" in use in Butte County, which require
inspection and testing from time to tame,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of Butte County that the Sealer of Weights and Measures is authori-
zed to, and may, inspect and test any weights or measures or
weighing ar measuring devices which the Sealer deems to be non-
corumercial, when requested in a form acceptable to the Sealer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors hereby
authorizes the Sealer to establish from time to time a schedule of
fees to cover the cost for such inspection and or testing, and to
charge and collect from the applicant for such fees.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 14th day of January, 1969, by
the following vote:

Attached find a notice of intention to sell tax deeded property
dated January 8,1868. This notice concerns AP-035-21-2-008-0;
Zot 30 in the Paxton Subdivision.
Please note that the minirr~um bid is ~j50.00.
The situation for this sale is similar to the sale of parcel AP-
035-22-1-014-0 which eras authorized by the Board of Supervisors
en T?ovember 12,1868, There is a house on the property ~~rhich is
in very bad repair. 'r'le have been advised by the Health Dept.
that the house is beyond repair.
The purchaser of sand property must remove the existing building
promptly before the land can be used or re-sold. The value of
the property is the bare land value minus the costs of removing
the e:~isting structure.
At the present time I have two parties interested in the purchase
of the parcel and am confident of sufficient interest to assure
a reasonable price at public auction.
Parcel 035--22-1-014-0, auctioned Tuesday Jan 7, 1968 brought a
gross price of `750.00 with yaur authorization to start the bid-
ding vrith a minimum price of 5$50,00.
I anticipate similar results if your approval. is given for this
sa.1e at auction,
