RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDON COUNTY HIGHWAYS,
6 AND PORTIONS THEREOF, TO WIT:
7 1. Lumpkin Road (portion)
2. Enterprise Road
8 3. Vinton Gulch & Truex (portions)
4. Berry Creek Road (portion)
9 5. Former State Highway 40A
(northerly portion)

NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE OF FEARING

13 BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the
14 COUNTY OF BUTTES STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
15 1. That it is the intention of said Board of
16 Supervisors to abandon the County Highways, and portions thereof,
17 hereinafter described, if it is;determined at the hearing as
18 hereinafter set, that said County Highways, and portions thereof,
19 are unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
20 2. That the hearing on this Notice and Resolution to
21 abandon County Highways, and portions thereof, shall be held on

23 day, in the Supervisors' Room in the Butte County Courthouse,
24 fronting on Huntoon Street in Oroville, California, at which
25 time said Board will hear evidence of any party interested.
26 3. That a copy of this Notice and Resolution shall
27 be published in a newspaper of general circulation published in
28 the County of Butte, and hereinafter designated by this Board,
29 for at least two (2) successive weeks prior to the date fixed
30 for the hearing. That a copy of this Notice and Resolution shall
31 be conspicuously posted along the line of the highways proposed
S2 to be abandoned for at least two (2) weeks prior to the date

2 4. That the County Highways, and portions thereof,
13 the subject of this Notice and Resolution, are situate in the
4 County of Butte, State of California, and are named as follows,
5 to wit :
6 Lumpkin Road (portion),
Enterprise Road,
7 Vinton Gulch & Truex (portions),
Berry Creek Road (portion),
8 Former State Highway 40A (northerly portion};
9 which said County Highways, and portions thereof, to be abandoned
10 are more particularly described in Exhibits A, B, C, D, and E,
11 attached hereto and made a part hereof as if specifically set
12 forth in detail.
13 5. That the
14 a newspaper of general circulation, published in the County of
i5 Butte, State of California, is hereby designated as the newspaper
16 in which this Notice and Resolution sha11 be published as
17 required by law.
;18 The foregoing resolution was adopted and passed on
19 the 14th day of January 1969, by the following vote:
20 AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, Howsden, Maxon, Reynolds and
Chairman McKillop

A portion of Lumpkin Road as the same existed
January 1, 1962, across portions of Sections One (1) and Two
(2), Township Nineteen (19} North, Range Five (5} East; Section
Thirty-Six (36), Township Twenty (20) North, Range Five'(5) East;
and Section Thirty-one (31), Township Twenty (20) North, Range
Six '(6) East, M.D.M. more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at_the point of intersection of said Lumpkin
Road with Southerly right of way line of the Oroville Reservoir,
from which point the Southwest Corner of said~Section 2 bears
South 79° 04' 23" West 2,405.38 feet; Ti-ONCE from said point of.
beginning.Northeasterly along said existing road to the point of
intersection with the Northerly right of way line of said
Reservoir-from which point the southwest corner of said Section 31
bears South 11° 19' 04'" West 313.22 feet, said point being the
end o£ the herein described road.

from said point of beginning Northerly along said Vinton Gulch

Northerly along said Truex Road to the point of intersection

BEGTNNTNG at a point on the North line of Section,i '-
Thirty-six (36), Township Twenty (20) North, Range Four (4)
East, M.D.M., from which point the Northwest Corner of said
Section 36 bears South 89° 11' 30" West 3,364.81 feet; said
point being-State Highway Engineer's Station 329+63.50 of the
Department of Public Works 1929 survey from Oroville to
J'arbo Pass, District III-BUT-21-B; THENCE from said point of
beginning Northerly along the centerline of said State Highway
to a point in the Southeast Quarter (SE 4) of Section Eleven (11),
Township Twenty-one (21} North, Range Four (4) East, M.D.M.
-from which the Southeast corner of said Section 1,1 bear South
04° 33' 47" East 2,029.74 feet;'said point being State Highway
