RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of August, 1968, the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, passed its
Resolution of Intention, as amended, to order certain improvements
and acquisitions to be made in Sierra -el Oro Estates Unit No. 3
Assessment ristrict, County of Butte, State of California, under and
pursuant to the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911," the
names of the streets proposed to be improved, a description of the
streets and/or public ways and/or easements on which said improvements
are to be made, the location and character of said proposed work, and
the assessment district being described in said P.esolution of
Intention, as amended, which is hereby expressly referred to for
all further particulars; and
WHEREAS, certain ocaners of property liable to be assessed
for said improvements and acquisitions made written protests or
objections in writing and delivered the same to the County Clerk
not later than the hour set for hearing such objections; and
WIiEREAS, at the time set for hearing the protests and
objections the said Hoard of Supervisors proceeded to hear the same,
and thereafter from time to time continued said hearing until thellth
day of February, 19b9; and
~1HEREAS, all of said protests or objections having been
heard and duly considered;
NO?n~, THEREFO1tE, BE TT RESOLVE- by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, that all of the said
protests and objections of every kind or nature be, and the same are
hereby overruled or denied; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEl7 that said Board of Supervisors
finds that said protests and objections are made by the oUmers
of less than one-half of the area of the property to be assessed
for said improvements and acquisitions.

I HEKEBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on
the ll th day of February, 1969, by the fallowing vote, to wit:
AYES: Supervisors Howsden, Maxon, Reynolds and Acting Chairman Dunaway_
NOES: Supervisors None
