RESOLUTION NO. 69-33
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RECOGNISING THE CALIFORNIA NURSES ASSOCIATION AS THE
REPRESENTATIVE OF THE REGISTERED NURSES AND PUBLIC
HEALTH NURSES EMPLOYED BY BUTTE COUNTY
WHEREAS, the California Nurses Association has applied
for recognition as an employee organization representing a
majority of all registered nurses and public health nurses
employed by Butte County and not classified in Butte County
Resolution No. 68-211, as managerial or confidential; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 68-211, the county
administrator has investigated said application and has submitted
a report to this board recommending that recognition be granted
as applied for; and
WHEREAS, after considering the above application and
recommendation, at a regularly convened meeting, this board
concurs in the above recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That the application of the California Nurses
Association for recognition is hereby granted and approved.
2. That tine California Nurses Association is hereby
recognized as the sale employee organization representing the
majority of registered nurses and public health nurses employed
by Butte County and not classified in Resolution No. 68-211, as
managerial or confidential.
3. That the California Nurses Association shall enjoy
all of the rights and privileges conferred under Part TV,
paragraph 2 of Resolution No. 68-211.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 11th day of February,
