COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
ORDER ABANDONING COUNTY HIGHWAYS, AND PORTIONS
THEREOF, THE NAMES OF WHICH ARE:
1. Lumpkin Road (portion)
2. Enterprise Road
3. Vinton Gulch & Truer (portions)
4. Berry Creek Road (portion)
5. Former State Highway 40A
(norther•1y portion)
This matter came on regularly for hearing before the
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
on Tuesda the 1:8th day of February 1969, at
8:30 p.m. of said day in the Supervisors' room of the Butte
County Courthouse fronting on Huntoon Street, in Oroville, Butte
County, California, and it appearing to said Board that a NOTICE
AND RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDON COUNTY HIGHWAYS, AND
PORTIONS THEREOF, AND NOTICE OF TIME'AND PLACE OF HEARING Of
said abandonment was duly and regularly given as required by law,
and testimony and evidence, both oral and documentary, having
been produced: at said hearing, from which said Board now finds
that the hereinafter described County Highways, and portions
thereof, are unnecessary for present and prospective use;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
1. That the County Highways, and portions thereof,
situate in the County of Butte, State of California, as hereinafter
more particularly described, are hereby abandoned.
2. That the description of said County Highways, and
portions thereof, so abandoned are situate in the County of Butte,
State of California, and are named as follows, to wit:
Lumpkin Road"w(portion),
Enterprise Road N~
Vinton Gulch & Truex/(portions),
Berry Creek Road; (portion),
Former State Highway 40AJ(northerly portion);
which said County Highways, and portions thereof, s.o abandoned are

1 more particularly described in Exhibits A, B, C, D, and E,
2 attached hereto and made a part hereof as if specifically set
3 forth in detail.
'4 I 3. That the Clerk of this Board shall cause a
5 certified copy of this Order and Exhibits A, B, C, D, and E
6 attached hereto, and made a part hereof, attested by the Clerk,
7 with the seal of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
8 to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of
9 Butte, State of California.
10 The foregoing Order and Resolution was duly adopted
ll and passed this 18th day of February 1969, on roll

and Section Thirty-one (31), Township Twenty (20) North, Range
Six (6) East, M.D.M. more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the point of intersection of said Lumpkin ~'
Road with Southerly right of way line of the Oroville Reservoir,
from which point the Southwest Corner of said Section 2 bears
South 79° 04' 23" West 2,405.38 feet; TT-~ENCE from said point of
beginning Northeasterly along said existing road to the point of
intersection with the Northerly right of way line of said
Reservoir from which point the Southwest corner of said Section 31
bears South 11° 19' 04" West 313.22 feet, said point being the
end of the herein described road.

Sixteen (16), Twenty-one (21), Twenty-eight (28) and Twenty-pine
(29), Township Twenty-one (21) North, Range Four (4) East,
M.D.M., more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the point of intersection of said Vinton
Gulch Road with the Southerly right of way line of the Western
Pacific Railroad relocation from Oroville to Intake as
established by the Department of Water Resources' 1955 Survey,
from which said point of beginning the Northeast Corner of said
Section 29 bears North 44° 18' 38" East 1,273.48 feet; THENCE
from said point of beginning Northerly along said Vinton Gulch
Road to the West Branch of the Feather River; thence continuing
Northerly along said Truex Road to the point of intersection
