RESOLUTION NO. 69-~
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUATTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTTON IN SUPPORT OF ASSEMBLY CObT-
CURRENT RESOLUTION N0. 38
WHEREAS, this board has received a copy of Assembly
Concurrent Resolution No. 38, which pertains to the Constitution
Revision Commission; and
WHEREAS, Assembly Concurrent Resolution No. 38 will require.
that each proposal of the Constitution Revision Commission, which.
creates a substantive change in the constitution, shall be
submitted to the legislature as s separate proposition; and
GkiEREAS, this board believes that substantive changes should
be given closer scrutiny than other changes, and further believes
that by submitting each substantive change individually, that each
substantive change will receive more study than if submitted
in mass.
NOTrl, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, as follovrs:
1. That this Board strongly supports Assembly Concurrent
Resolution DTo. 38, and respectfully commends its passage by the
legislature.
2. ~ at a copy of this resolution be sent to the Honorable
Fred Marl~e~r, Senator of the State of California, the Honorable
Ray Johns"on, Assemblyman of the State of California, and to any
other interested person.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Sutte, State of California, this 25th day of February, 1969,
