RESOLUTION NO. 69-~2.
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO ASSEMBLY BILL 785
WHEREAS, this board has been advised of Assembly Bill 785,
which would add Section 28161 to the Government Code and would
fix the salary of the district attorney to be at least that of
a judge of the superior court; and
WHEREAS, passage of this legislation would add to the
icost of county government,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, Sta to of California, that they oppose
Assembly Bill 785, and respectfully request that said bill be
defeated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 25th day of March, 1969,
by the following vote:
