HomeMy WebLinkAbout69-0564 1 2 3 4 51 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION N0. 69-56 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE.:OF CALIFORNIA .'RESOLUTION AMENDING BUTTE COUNTY PERSONNEL RULES WHEREAS, this board finds that the Personnel Rules in force for the employees of the County of Butte are in need of change, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUAITY OF BUTTE that the Personnel Rules for the employees of the County of Butte are amended as set out in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if sat forth in full as to the particular section numbers. NELSON, County Clerk and ex-officio Clerk of the Board of Supervisors 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31' I 32 I Section 9.7, entitled "ATTENDANCE" of the Butte County Personnel Rules is hereby amended to read as follows: Employees shall be in attendance at their work in accordance with the rules regarding hours of work, holidays and leaves. All department heads shall keep daily attendance records of employees. The Personnel Director may establish procedures for reporting such attendance records to his office. No full-time employee or appointed department head of the county shall engage in any occupation or outside activity which is incompatible with his county employment. Any such employee who engages in an occupation or outside activity for compensation shall inform his department head of the nature of such activity. The department head shall inform the Personnel Director. The Personnel Director shall investigate and inform the Board of any situation which. may be incompatible. The Board shall determine whether or not such activity is incompatible with county employment. Employees of a county department may be employed as extra-help employees in another county department during their off duty hours. Such employee working across departmental lines must have prior written approval of both department heads involved and the Personnel Director.
