BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE DIS-
SOLUTION OF COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 32
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 19th day of September, 1967,
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, of the State of
California adopted and passed a Resolution Establishing County
Service Area No. 32, to provide a survey and study of the
drainage problems and develop a master plan for drainage within
said area; and
WHEREAS, said Board believes that there has been a
non-user of the powers of~said service area, and that there is
a reasonable probability that such non-user may continue and
that a dissolution of said service area will be for the interest
of landowners or present or future inhabitants within said
service area; and
WHEREAS, Title 6, Division 1, Part 5, Chapter 4 of the
Government Code of the State of California provides for the
dissolution of a county service area upon the basis of the above,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That pursuant to the above code provisions, the board
hereby initiates proceedings for the dissolution of County
Service Area No. 32, located in the County of Butte, because
of the non-user of the powers of said service area, and the
benefits to be derived by the landowners and inhabitants by the
dissolution thereof.
2. That a public hearing be held on the 6th day of May,
1969, at 7:30 p.m., in the Board of Supervisors Room, in the
Butte County Courthouse, Oroville, California, for the purpose
of determining whether said service area shall be dissolved.

3. That any interested person desiring to make a written
protest against said dissolution may do so by written communicat-
ion filed with the Butte County Clerk no later than 7:30 p,m.,
on the 6th day of May, 1969.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 15th day of April,
1969, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway', Aowsden, Maxon, Reynolds and Chairman McKil]
