BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3
of the Government Code of the State of California, the Board of
Supervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for the
establishment of a county service area within the County of
Butte; and
WHEREAS, the LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION of the
County of Butte has approved the establishment of said Service
Area No. 35.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That a county service area is proposed to be
established under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the
unincorporated area of Butte County; the boundary lines of the
territories proposed for inclusion in the area are more
particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made
a part hereof by reference as though fully set forth verbatim
and at length.
2. That the name proposed for said county service area
is County Service Area No. 35.
3. That there are no extended county services provided
in this area.
4. That the types of extended county services proposed
to be provided in this area is installation and maintenance of
fire hydrants for fire protection located within the boundaries
of the area described herein.
5. That a tax sufficient to pay for such services which
are furnished on an extended basis will be annually levied upon.

GOUNTY FIRE HYDRANT SERVICE AREA
(North Chico Area)
All that unincorporated area lying within the following described boundary:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the northerly right of way line of Manzanita
Avenue with the centerline of Lindo Channel; thence westerly along the centerline
of Lindo Channel to its intersection with the southwesterly right of way line of
Gussick Avenue; thence north~,resterly along the southwesterly right of way line of
Gussick Avenue to the southwesterly prolongation of the north~•resterly line of Lassen
Avenue; thence northeasterly along the northwesterly right of way line of Lassen
Avenue to the southwesterly right of way line of the Esplanade; thence northwesterly'
.along said south~,resterly right of way of the Esplanade to its intersection with
the southwesterly prolongation of the northwesterly line of lot two (2) of the
Esmeralda Tract; thence northeasterly along the northwesterly line of said lot
two (2) and lot six (6) to the most northerly corner of said lot six (6) of said
Esmeralda Tract; thence southeasterly along the northeasterly-line of said lot
six (6) to the northwesterly right of way line of Lassen Avenue; thence northeasterly
along the northwesterly right of way line of Lassen Avenue and its northeasterly
prolongation to its intersection with the easterly right of way line of Cohasset
Road; thence southerly along the easterly line of •Cohasset Road to its intersection
with the northerly line of lot one (1) of Bidwell's seventeenth (17th) Sub.; thence
easterly along the northerly line of lots one (1), sixteen(16) and seventeen 17)
of BidwellES seventeenth (17th) sub to the northeast corner of lot seventeen 17)
of said Bidwell sub; thence southerly along the easterly line of said lot seventeen
(17) to the southwest corner of lot thirty=two (32) of last said sub; thence
easterly along the southerly line of said lot thirty-two (32) and its easterly
prolongation to its intersection with the easterly right of way line of Geres
Avenue; thence southerly along the easterly right of way, line of Ceres Avenue to
its intersection with the southerly line of lot thirty-three (33) of last said sub;
