1 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
!,2! RESOLUTION REGARDING ASSESSOR'S CONTRACTS
WITH STATE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION FOR
!3 APPRAISER AND AUDITOR SERVICE
'4',' WHEREAS, the Butte County Assessor must occasionally
~; utilize the services of expert auditors and appraisers with specia
6I experience not possessed by regular members of his staff; and
ry' WHEREAS, the securing of such specialists is an adminis-
g trative matter and is exempt from the duties of the County
g; Purchasing Agent, under Section 2-56(f) of the Butte County Code,
10' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
1I of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
12i That the Assessor be, and he is hereby, authorized to
13 execute contracts for such specialized services at his discretion
14 and without resort to this board for approval thereof, so long as
15 the amount of compensation provided in such contracts does not
16 exceed the total amount budgeted for such services in the Annual
