Home My WebLink About69-087RESOLUTION N0, 69- b BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION PROVIDING AN ADDITIONAL TYPE OF EXTENDED SERVICE WITHIN COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 34. 10 11 12 13 I 14 16 1B 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 8th day of April, 1969, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, adopted and passed a Resolution of Intention to Provide an Additional Type of Extended Service within County Service Area No . 3G.; and WHEREAS, said resolution fixed the 13th day of May, 1969, at 7:00 p.m. of said day, in the Board of Supervisors Room of the Butte County Courthouse, in the City of Oroville, State of California, as the time and place for the public hearing on the extension of services within said area; and WHEREAS, no written protests against the extension of services were filed in accordance with. Section 25210.34 of the Government Code; and GIiIEREAS, the City of Gridley has heretofore by resolution consented to the continued inclusion of that portion which falls within the_description of said service area; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California as follows: 1. That said board hereby finds and determines that the proceedings herein were conducted pursuant to Section 25210.30 et seq of the Government Code and that publication and notices were given pursuant thereto, and that said board finds and determines that the extended service described in the Resolution of Intention is an extended county service. 2. That County Service Area No. 34, which was established to provide for the operation, maintenance, repair and upkeep of a swimming pool constructed upon the Butte County Fairgrounds, and l 2 3. 4 5 6 7!. 8 9 10 11 12 i3 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 26 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 the boundaries of which are described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference as though fully set forth verbatim and at length, be provided with an additional type of extended service.. 3. That said additional type of extended service shall be the purchase of capital improvements, as determined by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte. 4. That except where funds are otherwise available from service charges collected pursuant to Government Code Section ~25210.77a, a tax sufficient to pay for the additional service (will be levied annually upon all taxable property within such I area.
