RESOLUTION APPROVING EXECUTION OF A CONSTRUCTION AND OPE1tATTNG
AGREEMEAIT WITH THE HARBORS AND WATERCRAFT COMMISSION AND THE
DEPARTMENT OF HARBORS AND WATERCRAFT OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
AUTHORIZING GHATRMAN TO SIGN AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the County of Butte has made application to the
Harbors and Watercraft Commission and the Department of Harbors
and Watercraft of the State of California for a grant nat to
exceed $160,000.00 for the construction of a boat launching
facility and parking and sanitary facilities located in the Lime
Saddle area. of the Oroville Reservoir, state recreation area.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV1il by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That the attached construction and operation agreement
is hereby approved by this board and the chairman of the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte is hereby authorized to
execute said construction and operating agreement on behalf of the
County of Butte,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 13th day of May, 1969,
by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Sunaway, Howsden, Maxon, Reynolds and Ckeairman P4eK~.17
NOES: None
ABSENT: P1one

RE: Lime Saddle Project Application
Gentlemen:
----~--~-~- --- - Please consider this letter as Butte County's formal
application for a grant of '$160,000 pursuant to our Board
of Supervisor's minute order 69-563 adopted.. April 22nd,
This application is predicated upon an established
need for a boat launching facility in the Lime Saddle area
of Lake Oroville in order to satisfy a need for safe boat
access to the lake, to rovide for future access needs, and
to eliminate considerable travel distar,cQ-now required of
local boaters.
The proposed project will contain parking and sanitary
facilities and necessary utilities ,in addition to a two-lane
boat launching ramp. The project has been found to be feasible
from an engineering point of view and is believed to be in
conformity with the requirements of this Commissions Resolution
No. 67-10-117.
