RESOLUTION N0. 69~ 112
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY' OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FUND ENTITLED "LIME SADDLE
LAUNCHING FACILITY ENTERPRISE FUND"
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
has entered into agreements with the State of California to
construct and operate a recreational project known as the Lime
Saddle Launching Facility; and
WHEREAS, said agreements require that monies made available
by the State for construction of the facility and revenues
received from operation of the facility be deposited in and
expended from a fund other than the County General Fund; and
WHEREAS, the said facility will be available to the general
public on a fee for use basis; and
WHEREAS, the maintenance and operation of said facility will
be financed primarily by said fees; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 25261 grants authority
for the Board of Supervisors to establish an "Enterprise Fund"
to maintain fiscal control over activities of this type,
NOW, TI-~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California that there is hereby
established a fund to be known as "Lime Saddle Launching
Facility Enterprise Fund."
PASSED AND 'ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 1st day of July, 1969, by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Howsden~ Reynolds Dunaway Maxon and
Chairman McKillop
