RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING EXTENDED DEBT REPAYMENT

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte did,
in increments of $8,000.00 and $3,324.39, transfer the sum of
$11,324.39 at 5% interest to County Service Area No. 34 to cover
maintenance and operation of its swimming pool facility until
such time as a tax could be levied within the service area; and
WHEREAS, Paragraph 2 of Section 25210.9(b) of the Government
Code provides that the Board of Supervisors may, by a four-fifths
resolution not later than the time of the first levy, extend
repayment of the transferred funds over a period of not to exceed
three consecutive years,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California that a tax levy shall
be made on the 1969-70 tax roll, on the taxable property in County
Service Area No. 34, sufficient to repay the amount of $5,650.00
on the principle sum of the transferred funds and $650.00 of the
accrued interest thereon. The unpaid balance of the principle sum
and all accrued interest th.e-reon shall be repaid during the
1970-71 fiscal year.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this lst day of July, 1969, by the
following vote-
