BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, .Part 2, Chapter
3 of the Government Code of the State of California, the Board
of Supervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for
the establishment of a county service area within the County of
Butte; and
WHEREAS, the LOCAL AGENCY RORMATION COMMISSION of the
(County of Butte has approved the establishment of said Service
(Area No. 36.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
'of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That a county service area is proposed to be established
under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated
area of Butte County; the boundary lines of the territories
proposed for inclusion in the area are more particularly described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference
as though fully set forth verbatim and at length.
2. That the name proposed for said county service area
is County Service Area. No. 36.
3. That there are no extended county services provided
in this area.
251 4. That the types of extended county services proposed
28; to be provided in this area is installation of street lighting
2'~'loeated within the boundaries of the. area. described herein.
28': 5. That a tax sufficient to pay for such ser'v'ices which
29',:are furnished on an extended basis will be annually levied upon
30 all taxable property within such area.
31' 6. That on ~ u9 /Z , 1969, at 7:30 p.m., a

County of Butte, State of California., this 8th day of July ,
1969, by the following vote:
