RESOLUTION N0. 69-~.2~
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTIONi OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY-WIDE AIR
POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, this board believes there is a need for an Air
Pollution Control District in this county; and
WHEREAS, Health and Safety Code Section 39310 et seq and
Section 24198 et seq provide for the establishment of such a
district, and Health and Safety Code Section 24204 provides for
a public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California as follows:
1. That this resolution constitutes notice of hearing
pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 24202, and this notice
sha11 b e published once in a newspaper of general circulation not:
less than 15 days and not more than 45 days before such hearing.
2. That a public hearing sha11 be held on ~~qvs% /~ _ ,
1969, at the hour of 7:30 p.m., in the Supervisors Room of the
Butte County Courthouse, Oroville, California, to determine
whether or not there is need for an Air Pollution Control
District to be formed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 22nd day of July,
1969, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Howsden, Dunaway and Chairman NtcKillop
NOES: Supervisor Reynolds
ABSENT: Supervisor Klaxon
