BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN TO
SIGN DEED TO THE STATE
WHEREAS, the State of California and the County of Butte

have heretofore entered into a certain agreement dated November 19 ,
1968, for the improvement of the intersection on State Highway 70
j at Oroville~Gridley Road; and
WHEREAS, under the terms of said agreemex~.t the County of
Butte was, in consideration of the State of California's
construction of said improvement, to obtain the necessary right
of way and transfer such to the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte has acquired a certain parcel
of said necessary right of way from Roy Mathews by deed,
recorded May 22, 1969, in Book 1567 at page 592,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California that said parcel be
transferred by grant deed to the State of California, and the
chairman of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed to
sign same on behalf of the County of Butte.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this ?2nd. day of July, 1969, by the
following vote:
