HomeMy WebLinkAbout69-132RESOLUTION NO.~jY /~~ BOARD OF SUPERVISORS 1 2 3 4 5 61, 7 8 9 10 Il 12 13 14 15 16 I 1'7 la 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION AND NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ABANDON COUNTY HIGHWAY AND NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING (Sections 95b.8 and 958, Streets and Highways Code) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD Ok' SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTX OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows: 1. That it is the intention of the Board of Supervisors to abandon the county highway hereinafter described, pursuant to Section 956.8 of the Streets ; Highways Code of dais state. 2. That the hearing on this Resolution to Abandon County Highway shall be held on Tuesday, the 26th day of August, 1969, at 9:00 PM of said day in the Supervisor's Room in the Butte County Courthouse, fronting on Huntoon Street in Oroville, California, at which time said Board will hear evidence of any party interested. 3. That this resolution and notice is adopted pursuant to a motion of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California. 4. That a copy of this resolution of intention shall be published in the Chico Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the County of Butte, and copies conspicuously posted, all as required by Section 958 of said Streets and Highways Code. S. That the County highway, the subject of this resolution and notice, is situate in the County of Butte, State of California, and described as follows Being a portion of Sacramento Avenue as said avenue is shown on that certain map entitled "Map of the Seventh Subdivision of the John Bidwell Rancho", which map was filed for record in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte on November 11, 1902, in Book 5 of Maps at page 29, more particularly described as f0110WS: All that portion of said Sacramento Avenue that is bounded on the west by Lot 41 of said subdivision; bounded on the south by the northerly line of Lindo Channel as shown on said map; and as described in that certain deed to the State of California, recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California, on August 20, 1909 in Book 111 of Deeds at page 320; bounded on t e ~_ east by the southerly prolongation of the easterly line of Muir Avenue (50 feet wide as shown on said map) and bounded on the north by a line parallel with and '_._-- distant southerly, 60.00 feet from the northerly right of why line of said Sacramento Avenue.
