RESOLUTION AND NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ABANDON
COUNTY HIGHWAY AND NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE
OF HEARING (Sections 956.8 and 958, Streets
and Highways Code)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVTSORS OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That it is the intention of the Board of Supervisors
to abandon the county highways hereinafter described, pursuant to
Section 956.8 of the Streets and Highways Code of this state.
2, That the hearing on this Resolution To Abandon County
Highways shall be held on Tuesday, the ~v~ day of Se.ioT-
1969, at :' ~3(~ p.m, of said day in the Supervisors' Room in the
Butte County Courthouse, fronting on Huntoon Street in Oroville,
California, at which time said Board will hear evidence of any
party interested.
3. That this resolution and notice is adopted pursuant to a
motion of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, :State of
California.
4.. That a copy of this resolution of intention shall be
published in the Oroville Mercury ,. a newspaper of general
circulation in the County of Butte, and copies conspicuously posted,
all as required by Section 958 of said Streets and Highways Code.
5. That the county highways, the subjects of this resolution
and notice, are situate in the Town of Nelson, County of Butte, State
of California, as shown on the map recorded in Book One of Maps, at
Fage 58, in the office of the Recorder, County of Butte, and are
described as follows:
West Street from the N.W. corner Block 5 North to North Street.
North Street from 'West Street East to the Midway.
Sutter Street from Mi11 Street North to North 'Street.
Colusa Street from West Street East to Sacramento Street,
then from Sacramento Street East to the Midway.
Antelope Street from 'West Street East to Sacramento Street,
then from Sacramento Street East to the Midway.
Mill Street from West Street East to Sacramento Street.
All A11eys in Blocks ;l, 2, 3, 4, 13, 14, 15 and 16.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of
Butte, State of California., this 26th da.y of August, 1969, by the
following vote:
