RESOLUTION OF ABANDONMENT OF BUTTE COUNTY HIGHWAY

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County o£ Butte, State of
California, heretofore declared its intention to vacate and abandon the
following described public highway of Che County of Butte:
Ali that certain real property, situate in the County of Butte, State of
California, described as follows:
Being a portion of Sacramento Avenue as said avenue is shown on that certain
map entitled "Map of the Seventh Subdivision of the John Bidwell Rancho",
which map was filed for record in the office of the Recorder of the County of
Butte on November 11, 1902, in Book 5 of Maps at page 29, mare particularly
described as follows:
ALL that portion of said Sacramento Avenue that is bounded on Che west by Lot
41 of said subdivision; bounded on the south by the northerly line of Lindo
Channel as shown on said map; and as described in that certain deed to the
State of California, recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of
Butte, State of California, on August 20, 1909 in Book 111 of deeds at page
320; bounded on the east by the southerly prolongation of the easterly line
of Muir Avenue (50 feet wide as ahawn on said Map) and bounded on the north
by a line parallel with and distant southerly, 60.00 feet from the northerly
right of way line of said Sacramento Avenue.
WHEREAS, upon filing Resolution of Intention to Abandon said highway,
the Board of Supervisors did, by order, fix the 26th day of AugusC, 1969, at
9:00 PM, of said day, at the Butte County Courthouse, Oroville, California,
as the time and place for a public hearing; and
WHEREAS, notice o£ said hearing was given to all freeholders of the
district in which said highway is located by publication for two successive
weeks prior to the date of said heaxfng, in the Chico Enterprise-Record, and
by posting similar notices along the line of the highway proposed to be
abandoned; and
WHEREAS, it apgears that all legal requirements have been complied with,
and the Board, being fully informed and advised, finds the highway described
in said resolution is unnecessary for present ar prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, that the public highway as above described is
hereby ordered vacated and abandoned. The County Clerk is hereby directed to
file a certified copy of this order in the office of the County Recorder of
Butte County, for record.
