COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION FOR SUMMARY ABANDONMENT FOR A
PORTION OF COHASSET ROAD
WHEREAS, a portion of the CohassetRoad is no longer necessary or
required for road purposes; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code, SectiS~n 960.1,
the Board finds that a portion of Cohasset Road should be summarily vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. The following described portion of the Cohasset Road is hereby
summarily vacated and abandoned pursuant to Streets & Highways Code Section
960.1:
A11 that certain real, property situate in the County of Butte, State of Ca
described as follows:
Being that portion of that certain right of way 60 feet in width, conveyed to
the County of Butte for road purposes only, by deed retarded in the Office of
the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California, on July 8, 1916, in
Book 160 of Deeds at page 298, lying within the northwest quarter of Section
23, T23N, RLE, and Lying easterly of the southeasterly line of that certain
parcel of land conveyed to the County of Butte by deed recorded June 22, 1967,
in Book 1475 at Page 660, Butte County Official Records; the centerline of said
60 foot right of way being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point whence the SW corner of the NW quarter of Section 23, T23N,
R1E, bears S 0°40` W 155 feet and running thence N 20°15' E 200 feet, N 42°457 E
149 feet, N 58°357 E 100 feet, N 69°357 E 149 feet, N 73°007 E, 150 feet,
N 50°00` E 230 feet, N 62°05' E 233 feet, N 70°30' E 187 feet, N 74°25' E 132
feet, N 64°00` E, 233 feet, N 36°50' E 132 feet, N 64°357 E 100 feet, N 17°257 E
100 feet, N 48°05' W 100 feet, S 77°25' W 241 feet, N 75°307 W 1S3 feet, N 84°
45` W 150 feet, N 38°557 W 300 feet, to a point in the road
