'1~~s RESOLUTION REGARDING FARMERS HOME ADMIN- ISTRATION LOAN AND GRANT TO BUTTE COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY WHEREAS, L.G. Melton, executive director of the Housing Authority of the County of Butte, has presented to the Board of Supervisors a review of the Labor Housing Grant Agreement and financial assistance to be furnished to the Housing Authority of the County of Butte by the Farmers Home Administration for the repair of existing and construction of new residential units for domestic farm labor families; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte have been further advised that the financial assistance for the project will be in the form of a loan of $425,900.00 and a grant of $825,300.00, making a total loan and grant of $1,251,200.00; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte are well aware of the need and urgency for repair of existing :- family residential units and construction of new, permanent residential units at the Gridley Farm Labor Center; anal WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors is the "local governing body" whose concurrence is required by Section 36056 of the Health. and Safety Code, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte hereby approve the application of the Housing Authority of the County of Butte in requesting federal assistance from the Farmers Home Administration for the improvement and construction of permanent residential units for domestic farm labor at the Farm Labor Center at Gridley in the County of Butte.
