WHiRE~S, the County Surveyor of the Co~mty of Butte, State
of California, did, on-the 23rd day of September, 1969, file caith t'ne
County Cleric of the County of Butte an assessment to represent the cost
and expenses of the ~•.orlc and improvements done and made by BELT~Di~TIN CON-
TRACTINC COciPANY, INC., a corporation doing business undex the fictit-
ious name and style of BUTTE CREiK ROCK Ca., pursuant to proceedings
had .and taken by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, under
and pursuant to P.esolution of Intention No. 68-104, adopted on the 9th
day of July, 1968; and
GlHEREAS, the County Cierk of the County of Butte has duly and
regularly given notice by publication, posting and mailing in the time
and manner provided by law of the filing of said assessment and of the
time set for hearing thereon, which time was fixed in said notices as.
the 21st day of October, 1969, at the hour of 7:00 P.M. of said day, at
the meeting place of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
located in the Butte County Courthouse, Oroville, California; and
WIIEP.EAS, said Board of Supervisors has received evidence oral
and documentary concerning said asses5?2ent and the proper completion of
the work and improvement for which the same is issued;
NOLJ, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Super-
visors of the County of Butte, State of California, that said assessment
and the diagram and warrant attached thereto, the proceedings leading up
to the same, and all acts and .determinations of all officers of the
County of Butte with relation thereto be, and the same are hereby, rati-
fied and confirmed, and the County Surveyor of the County of Butte is
hereby ordered to deliver said warrant, assessment and diagram to STONE
& YOUNGBERG, assignee of said Contractor, upon payment by said contractor
of the incidental expenses provided by law.

I HEREBY CER'lIE'Y that-the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the Bvar_d of Supervisvrs of the County of
Butte, State of California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on
the 21st clay of October, 1°69, by the following vote, to grit:
