RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO H.R.: 7354
WHEREAS, this board has been advised of the provisions
of H.R. 7354; and
WHEREAS, H.R. 7354 will terminate all filing of mining
claims in the United States and thereby act to curtail this very
important industry,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this board of
supervisors strongly opposes H.R. 7354 and respectfully
requests that the Congress of the United States defeat H.R. 7354.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution
be forwarded to the Honorable George Murphy, U.S. Senator, the
Honorable Alan Cranston, U.S. Senator, the Honorable Harold T.
Johnson, Congressman, and any other interested parties.
PASSED AND ADOPTID this 28th day of October, 1969,
