RESOLUTION REGARDING HONEY RUN ROAD
WHEREAS, a new bridge was constructed April, 1966, on
new alignment across Butte Creek, upstream from the Honey Run
covered bridge; and
WHEREAS, new bridge construction necessitated road
realignment of the Honey Run Road on the easterly side of
Butte Creek; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte did not abandon its interest
in the old road lying between the easterly end of the Honey
Run covered bridge and the new road construction (approximately
Engineer's Station 27 ~ 50), as this old road is the only means
of access to the covered bridge on the easterly side of Butte
Greek,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the road described in
Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein
as if set forth in full, is within the county maintained system,
and Resolution No, 69-78 is hereby amended to express the additi-
onal mileage as indicated in Exhibit "A". The Director of Public
Works is further ordered to keep said road described in Exhibit
"A" open to the travelling public.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 4th day of November, 1969, by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, Howsden, Maxon, Reynolds and Chairman McKillog

Being all that portion of the Old Honey Run Road
as it existed July, 1965, described as follows:
Beginning at the center of Butte Creek with its
intersection of said Honey Run Road thence along said
road southeasterly and northeasterly to its intersection
with Honey Run Road Relocation constructed in April, 1966.
