Resolufion No. 69-193
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXCHANGE REAL PROPERTY
(EAST AVENUE EXTENSION 56171-68-1)
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Board of Supervisors to
exchange that real property described in Exhibit "B", attached
hereto, for that certain real property described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the real property described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, is necessary for the public and the county use as highway
right of way; and
WHEREAS, the real property described in Exhibit-."B" attached
hereto, is not necessary for public or county use; and
WHEREAS, this Board desires to exchange said property pursuant
to Section 960.4 of the Streets and Highways Code and Section 25365
of the Government Code of the State of California,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That the Board hereby finds that the property described
in Exhibit "B" is not necessary for public or county use, and
further that the property described in Exhibit "A" is necessary
for county use, and that said property described in Exhibit "B"
is of equal value to the property described in Exhibit '+A".
2. That it is the intention of this Board to execute a
quitclaim deed for the property described in Exhibit "B".
3. That it is the intention of this Board to make said
exchange on the 16th of December, 1969, at the hour of 1Q:30 ~'.Ni.
the Board of Supervisors' Room, Courthouse, located in Oroville,
California.
4. That the clerk of this Board shall give notice pursuant
to Government Code Section 6061, by publishing in a newspaper of
general circulation in the County of Butte of the intention of this
Board to make such exchange.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 2nd day of December,
1969, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, Howsden, Maxon, Reynolds and Chairman McRillop

Exhibit "A"
Being a poxtion of Lot 35 as said lot is shown on that certain map entitled
"Map; of the Third Subdivision of the John Bidwell Rancho", which map was filed for
record in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State o£ California,
on September 17, 1900, in Book 5 of Maps at Page 8, more particularly described as
follows: -
Beginning "at the most southerly corner of said Lot 35, said corner being on the center-
line of Nord Avenue (shown as Grant-Avenue, 60 feet wide on said map); thence from
said POINT OF BEGINNII`1G N 37°30'20"W along the said centerline of Nord Avenue, 198.07
feet; thence N 5?°29'40"E, 30.00 feet to the northeasterly right of way line of said
Nord Avenue; thence southeasterly on the arc of a non-tangent 270.00 foot radius
curve, concave to the northeast (radial line to~said curve at this point bears
S 52°29'40"W), through a central angle of 23°01'16" for 108.48 feet; thence S 60°31'36"E.
100.38 feet to the southeasterly line of said Lot 35; thence S 52°26'24"W, along said
southeasterly lot line 90.76 fepet to the P02NT OF BEGINNING.

, Being a portion of Lot 36 as said Lot is shown on that certain map entitled,
"Map of the Third Subdivision of the John Bidwell Rancho" which map was filed for
record in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte on September 17, 1900,
in Book 5 of Maps at page 8, more particularly described as follows;
Commencing at the westerly corner common to Lot 36 and Lot 35 of said subdivision,
said ..corner being on the centerline. of Nord Avenue '(shown as Grant Avenue, 60 feet
wide on said map); thence N 52°26'24" E along the northwesterly line of said Lot 36,
90.76 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of the parcel of land described herein;
thence from said TRUE POINT Ok' BEGINNING, continuing along the said northwesterly
lot line, N 52°26'24"E, 408..14-feet o a point of cusp; thence southwesterly on the
arc of a tangent 1040.00 foot radius curve, concave to the southeast, through a
central angle of 20°15`47" for 367.80 feet; thence .northwesterly on the arc of a :_
tangent 20.00 foot radius curve, concave to the. north, through a central angle of
$7°17'47", for 30.47 feet; thence N 60°31~' 6"W, 58.01 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
