RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 69-68
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, did on the 8th day of April, 1969, pass and
adopt Resolution No. b9-68, entitled "Resolution Designating
Facilities and Personnel Pursuant to Lanterman-Perris-Short Act";
and
WHEREAS, said resolution designated the Butte County
Community Hospital as an evaluation facility; and
WHEREAS, said resolution designated all physicians
practicing medicine and all psychiatrists practicing psychiatry
in Butte County as professional persons who may take, or cause to
be taken, into custody persons who are a danger to others, to
themselves, or gravely disabled as a result of mental disorders,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That paragraph 1 of page 3 of Resolution No. 69-68
be amended by adding the following:
"(a) Hospitals of the Veterans Administration located
in the State of California are hereby designated
for eligible veterans as approved facilities in
this county for post-certification treatment,"
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 16th day of December, 1969, by
the following vote:..
