HomeMy WebLinkAbout694ORDINANCE NOo 691 AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTES STATE OF CALIFORNIA9 PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NOSo 475 AND 522 OF SAID COUNTY The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte9 State of California under and pursuant to Ordinance Noe 475 of said County9 being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance of said County as amended by Ordinance Noo 5229 Do Ordain As Follows SECTION to The hereinafter described area situate in the County of utte9 State of California9 shall be and it is hereby boned as an "R.-111 (Single Farm y Residential} District as hereinafter described and subject to all of the restricted ses applicable to the uses of an "Rml" nistrict9 said area so coned being located in t e unincor- porated area of Butte County East of the City of Chico9 particularly de cribed as follows Beginning at the intersee~ion of the centerline of Manzanita Avenue and Va~.lombrosa Avenue; thence westerly along said centerline of Vallombrosa Avenue to its intersection with the southerly extension of lot line common to Lots 20 and 21 of Bidwell 19th Subdivision; thence northerly on said Line and its extension and parallel to the centerline of Madrone Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Lirido Channel; thence easterly along centerline of L~:ndo Channel to its intersection with the centerline o~ Manzanita Avenue; thence southeasterly along said centerline of Manzanita Avenue to the point of beginning; excepting therefrom all land within the incorporate boundary of the City of Chicoo SECTION 2e The following regulations shall apply in an "R-1" Distri t: 2,l Uses Permitted: 1) One-family dwellings9 not including tents or trailerse 2) Accessory buildingse 3) The following uses subject to the securing of a use perm t in each cases as Golf courses and oountry clubso bo Public and quasi-publio uses inoluding ohurohes9 fir houses, hospitals9 parks and playgrounds9 schools and public utility buildingso ca Private stableso 2,2 Minimum Building Site Area Required: Eight thousand9 one-h dyed and twenty-five (89125) square feeto 203 Minimum Building Site Width Required: Sixty-five (b5) feeta 2,4 Minimum Front Yard Requiredo Twenty five (25} feete 2<5 Minimum Side Yards Requireds Six (b) feet9 unless building its is less t2ia~ sixty (60} feet9 i.n which case side yard equal to en percent of suoh width but not less than five.
