HomeMy WebLinkAbout70-003RESOLUTTON RE I3EW PUBLIC ROAD CONNECTTON TO STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 32 - VICINITY OF TEN MILE HOUSE WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County entered into a Freeway Agreement with the State of California, Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, on February 6~ 1961, relating to that cextain portion of SCaCe Highway 32 in Butte County between Hog Spring and Lomo; and WHEREAS, a~ that time the axea between Hog Spring and Eorest Ranch was unde- veloped with no public road connectians; and WHERF,AS, a large land development is propased in this area; and WHEItEAS, this proposed development is advantageous to t€~e economy of ButCe County; and WHEREAS, this proposed development requires public access to the freewaq; and WHERFaAS~ Section 100.2 of the Streets and Highways Code requires ~he adoption o£ a resolution by the Califiornia Highway Commission consenCing to a connection with any freeway o£ a new public road; NOW~ T~IEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OR TI3E COUNTY 0~' BUTTE~ ST.A.xE OF CALxFORNIA~ that the California Highway Commission be requested to adopt a resolution consenting to a new, at-grade publzc road connection to the east side o£ State Highway Route 32, approximately one-hal.f mile south of Ten Mile House.
