BE TT RESOLVED by the Boaxd of 5upervisors of the Coun~y of Bu~te~ as fbllows:
WH~,ftE1~5, Ordin,ance No. 9$~. establishes a procedure fbr the creation o~
underground utili-ty distric-~s and requires as the zni~ial step in such
procedure the holding of a public hearing to ascertain wh~ther p~.blic necessaty,
heal.th, safety or welfare require the removal of poles~ overhead wires and
associated overhead structures and ~he undergrou.nd ins~a~lation of wires and
~'aezlities for supplying electric~ communication or similar or assoc9ated
service in any such district; and
WfiEi?EAB, it has been recommended ~hat such an underground utility da~stric
hereinafter cal~.ed District, be formed on East Avenue from 200 fee-~ wes~ of
Gohasset Road to the centerJ.ine of Pillsbury Road and bounded by the existing
right of way lines of East Avenue.
NOW, ~HEREE'OR~~ BE 3T RES~LUID AS ~'QLLOWS:
l. No~,ice ~.s hereby given that a publiC hearing will be held by t~e
Board nf Supervisars of the County of But~e on Max'ch 3~ ~ 1970,
a'~ ~he hour of 'i_'I :00 a.~l. in the Board of Supervisors Room of the
Courthouse, Orovil~e, Califiornia~ to ascertain whether the pubZic necessity~
hea~th, safety or welfare require the re~nova~ of poles, overhead wires and
associated overhead structures ancl the undergrouncl inatall.ation of wire and
facilities for suppl.ying electric~ commu~nicatzon or similar assaciated service
in the District herexnabove described.,
2, At such hearing~ all persons interested shall. be given an opportunity
to be heard. Said hearing may be continuea from ~ime ~to time as may be
detexmi.necl by -~he Board of Supervisoxs,
3. The County Clerk shall no~ify all affected propeT~Ey owners as shown
on the last equalized assessnent roll ancl ~.tzli~tiea concerned o~ the time and
ofi such hearing by mailing a copy of this resoZution to such property owners and
utilities concerned a~ least ten (10) days prior ~o the date thereof,
