WHEREAS, theBoard of Supervisors desires to re-appoi.n~
John W. Houghton to the posi~i.on of Sealer o~ Weights and Measure~,
NOW, THEREFORE, SE ~T RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVI50RS
OF THE C~UNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALTFORNZA, AS FOLLOW5:
~.. That John~W. Houghton is hereby appointed as County
Sealer af Weigh-~s and Measu~es, and that the appointmen~ be
e~~ec~ive and his ~erm of office to commence as of the ~.st day of
March 1.970.
2. That his compensatxan sha11 remain as set forth in Butte
County Ordinance No. 1.0~.$, at a rate equalivent to Range 34.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED ~hat at any ~ime a general increase
in compensa~ion or benefi~s is gran~ed cou~.-~y emplayees, the said
salary and bene~its sha~.l be revxewed and reconsider~d.
