BE IT RESOLVED by ehe Board of Supervisors of the County af Butte as
follows:
WHEREAS, by reso].ution date~ Febraary 10, 1970, a public hearing was
' called for on March 3, ].970, at ~he hour of 11:00 A.Mo in the Board of
Supervisors Room in ~ha Couxthouse, Oroville, California, to ascertain wheCher
the public necessi~y, heaJ.th, safefiy, or welfare requfres the removal o~ poles,
overhead wixes and associa~ed overhead structures, and the undergxound instal-
lation. of wires azzd facilities tor supplying electric, communication, or
similar or associatied se~vi.ce, within that,certain area of the county described ,
as ~oiio~,,s:
~'earson Road from the cen~erline of Skyway to the centerline
of Scottwood Road and bounded by a Iine 100 feet each s~.de o~
the centerline of Pearson ~.oad; and
WHEREAS, notice of such hearing [~as been given to a7.1 affected property
owners as such ara shown on the last equalized assessment roll and ~o a].1
utilities concerned a.n the manner and within the time required by J.aw; and
[dHEREAS, such hearing has been duly and ~egularly held, and all persons
inte~ested have been given an oppo~tunity ~o be heaxd,
NOWa TkI~REFORE, BE 7T RESOZVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, tha~, pursuant to Drdinance ~Io. 981 of the CounCy of Butte, the
above-described area i.s hereby declared an Underground Ut~.l.zty District, and
is designated as Pearson Road IIndergrouncl Utility Dis~ricC No, 1 0~ t~e County
o~ Butte~ Attached hereto, and hereby rncorporated as a paxt of thi.s resolu-
tion., is a map delineating the bounda~~es o~ said Distric~;
RESOLVED~ FURTHERa tf~at the Board of Supervisors does hexeby ~i.x
July 1, 1970, as the date on which affected property owners must be ready to
receive undergraund service, and does hereby order the removal o£ a11 poles,
overhead wires and associated overhead structures and the underground~ins~al-
lation. of wires and facilities for suppZying electric, communication, or
similar or associated service within Pearson Rm d Undergroun.d Uti7.ity Bistrict

7 or o~her similar or associated servi.ce, they or suckt occupant sha1J., by the
