OE FUNDS TO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMiSSION OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
BE IT RESOLV~A by the BOARD OF SUPERVTSORS of the COUiVTY OF BiTTTE~
State of CaJ.i~oxni.a, as follows, to wit:
1. That said Board ~ereby approves and authorizes the reguest for
allocatioxt o~ ~urtds fx'om the Public Utilities Commission in connection with
the following railroad crossingo
Southern Pacific RR on Wagstaff Road (Crossing No, CH-200.2)
2. That the Chair~aan of this Soard is hereby authorized Co execv.te
said request, and the Clerk of this Board is auChorized to attach a certified
copy of this resolution to said request.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,

from Crosaing Pxotection Fund for
Protection ati the foliowing Crossing:
A. Southern Pacific Railroad on Wagstaff Raad
(Crossing No. CH-20Q2)
The Cnunty of Butte, State of Cali.fornia, hereby reques~s the Pub~.ie Utilities Commis-
aion to make an aliocatio~- to appLicant from the Crossing Protection Fund in the
maximum amount of $1,998.54, auch allacation, however, not to excaed one-half of the
actual costs of applicane's share oE the costs of constiruating pratection at the
Southern Pacific Railroad on Wagstaff Road (Crossing Nn. CH-2pD.2).
I,~. Attached as ExE~ibit A is a true copy of a resolution adopted by the Board of
Supervisors of the Gounty of Butte, suthorizing submi~,ssion of this request.
?. Old protection at crossings: wooden croesbucks each side of tracks.
3. New protectinn at crossings: two No. 8 flashing 1,3.ghts.
4. Vehicular and train traffic:
(.A) Vehicles - 26p0 per day.
(B) firains - one tra~.n in each direct3on, six days a ~,~eek.
S. Estimated cost o£ install.atian is attached as Exhibit B,
6. True copies of agreement between applicant and rail.road are attached as
F.xhibit C.
7. The Cout~ty of Butte is wiliing and able eo partic~.pate in the costs of construc-
tion in the amount o£ $1,998.54 over and above tFee amount of the requeated
al2ocaCian and this amount.has been expended.
8. Iluring Che last threa fiscal years, the County of ~utte has expended $3,250.89
for crossing protection. Amoun[ budgeted for present ~iscal year -$20,00~.00.
9. ~'unds for pavamen~t markings and advance warnfng signs are included in the
~ Caunty's rnaintenance budgeto These ~narEcfngs and signs were placed prior to.
completing of the new crossing fnatallations.
