WHEREAS, the Butte County Hospital is presently
operating an obstetrical ward;
WHEREAS, said obstetrical ward has not received
the utilization over the:years thati has been anticipated;
WHEREAS, this Board wishes to discontinue the
obstetrical services at the Butte County Hospital, said
discontinuance to be strictly on a trial basis;
NOW, THER~FORE, B~ I~ 17ESOLt1'ED, by the Boa rd pf
Supe~rv9.sors of the County o£ Butte, State of California
as follows:
lo That the Butte Covx~ty Coma~uni~y Hospital
shall da.scontinue on a trial basis, the obstetrical
services hereto~ore provided upon completion of agreements
wi.th hospitals throughout the County, to provide obstetrical
services to medically indigent patients.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board. of Supervisors of
the County of Butte, State of Cali~ornia, this ']th day
of ApRIL , 1970, by the following vote:
