WHEREAS, this Board has been made aware of the
provisions of 5enate Bil1 No. 47b;
WHEREAS, the Local Agencq Forination Commission of
Butte County has also reviewed and studied the effects
of Senate Bill No. 476;
WHEREAS, bo~eh the Lacal Agen.cy Format9.on Commission
of this County and this Board opposes the prov'isions of
Senate Bill Noo 476;
NOW, T~iEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board of
Supervisors:

No. 476 and respectfully recommends to the legislature
that Senate Bil.l No. 476 not be passed into lawo
2, That copies of this Resolution be sent to the
Honorable Fred Marler, State Senator and Honorable Ray
Johnson, Assemblyman, and to such other parties as this
Board directs,
